What is Cure Hydration?
Cure Hydration is an all-natural hydration drink mix based on the World Health Organization standard for an Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS)—updated for a modern lifestyle. Our formula has more electrolytes than leading sports drinks but contains no added sugar or artificial ingredient, and it isn’t fluorescent blue. This scientifically balanced formula can be used to help combat dehydration caused by everyday activities including exercise, travel and drinking alcohol.
What is an Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS)?
Oral Rehydration Solution is a formula used to prevent and treat dehydration. ORS consists of drinking water mixed with precise amounts of glucose (sugar) and salts, specifically sodium and potassium. An exact ratio of glucose-to-salt triggers the body to rapidly absorb water and electrolytes into the bloodstream. It was originally pioneered by the World Health Organization to help treat severe dehydration in people suffering from Cholera and has helped to save over 50 million lives. ORS is considered to be significantly safer and just as effective as fluid replacement through an IV. This innovation in hydration science has over 50 years of research and is considered to be one of the greatest medical advances of the last century.
Why isn’t water enough on its own?
Don’t get us wrong – we love water. But water on its own is often not enough to properly rehydrate our bodies. Sweat loss, alcohol consumption, travel, and a variety of other factors can lead to electrolyte imbalances. These imbalances prevent our bodies from effectively absorbing water into our bloodstreams, leading to dehydration.
When should I take Cure?
You should take Cure whenever you expect to sweat or after you’re feeling the symptoms of dehydration (fatigue, headaches). If you’re doing strenuous exercise, you can take Cure either before, during, or immediately after your workout. If you’re hoping to ward off a hangover, it’s best to take Cure before you go to bed. Starting your day with Cure is also a great way to naturally energize!
Why does Cure come in powder form and not liquid?
Cure is currently only sold in a powdered form. Shipping a powder allows us to keep costs down, which in turn allows us to pass on savings to customers in the form of lower prices. Powder also allows for flexibility by mixing with more or less water to match the taste preferences for each person. Lastly, our powder packaging allows us to avoid using plastic bottles - 91% of which don’t end up getting recycled.
Where is Cure manufactured?
Our hydration mix is manufactured and packaged right here in the US.
Is Cure’s formula organic?
We strive to use organic ingredients wherever possible, however, some of Cure’s ingredients cannot be certified as organic under the USDA standards. Our non-organic ingredients, such as Pink Himalayan Salt, are all organic compliant, meaning they’re approved for use by the USDA in products containing organic ingredients.
Is Cure considered a supplement?
No. Cure is classified by the FDA as a food/beverage.
Does Cure contain any allergens?
All of our products contain Organic Coconut Water. Coconuts are considered a tree nut, which is a common allergen. As always, it’s a good idea to consult your doctor before using any new product if you have any specific health issues or allergies.
How long will Cure stay fresh?
When stored at room temperature, Cure will stay fresh for two years after the manufacture date. When mixed with a liquid such as water and refrigerated, Cure will stay fresh for up to 1 week. Given the purity of ingredients and lack of additives, clumping sometimes occurs when the powder is exposed to heat or humidity. This does not reduce the effectiveness or flavor of the product - it’s natural and harmless. Simply give the stick pack a quick shake and the powder will dissolve properly once mixed with water.
Is this safe to consume while you are pregnant?
Cure is a medical grade hydration product that is high in electrolytes. If you are pregnant, we recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming Cure.

Cure settles at the bottom of my water bottle - what do I do?
Due to the natural ingredients we use in our formula, you may notice that Cure does not fully dissolve in your water bottle. In particular, pink Himalayan salt can sometimes settle towards the bottom of your water. This is completely normal.
What are "natural flavors" and why do you use them?
In order to be used in food, natural flavors must meet strict FDA guidelines and safety criteria. All of our natural flavors are organic compliant, Non-GMO and vegan. There are no sugars or artificial ingredients contained in nor added to our natural flavors. We add natural flavors to help our product taste consistently great every time you drink it.
What is “citric acid” and why do you use it?
Citric acid is a common ingredient found in food products and is primarily used to keep the taste of our product consistent every time you consume it. Citric acid is found naturally in citrus fruits like lemons and limes, and it’s what gives them their tart, sour taste. We derive all our citric acid from cassava root.
Are your products Non-GMO?
Yes, all of our ingredients are Non-GMO. We are currently in the process of getting our certification from Non-GMO Project Verified.
