All our best picks so you don’t have to scroll through titles for hours.

Ahhh the holidays. A time for fuzzy socks, hot beverages, and elastic waistbands. It’s been quite a year, and we all deserve a break.

If there were a genre called “Women Kicking Ass in Sports,” that would be our favorite. But it’s sadly not populated with tons of options, so we culled together our favorites in one handy list. Here are the very best, very Cure movies and TV shows to watch over the holiday.

Nostalgia:
After a rough year, it’s nice to escape to what feels like a simpler time. Here are Cure’s favorite movies to escape to another era:

Bend It Like Beckham
Doubly relevant since the women’s U.S. soccer team just won two World Cups in a row!

A League of Their Own
The true story of the first women’s softball league and the origin of the famous movie line, “there’s no crying in baseball!”

Blue Crush
The movie that launched a million millennial girl surf lessons.

New-ish:

Cure’s favorites of the last few years:

GLOW
Pink unitards, anyone? You can binge all three glorious seasons about this women’s professional wrestling team in the 1980s.

Before Serena there was Billie. This is the wild story of when tennis great Billie Jean King played against the best male tennis player at the time.

Cheer
I’m not crying, you’re crying! That’s how we felt after watching the first season. We’ll never underestimate the wild world of competitive cheerleading again!
